This is my Step Four milling
machine in action. After about one year I finally got the time to work with
it. |
 |
A very old Laptop which I got
for a few dollars (Swiss Francs to be more explicit) is enough to run the
software which controlls the milling machine. The device to the left is the
control box of the Step Four. It is connected to the laptop via the parallel
port. |
 |
This is the very first part I
did with the Step Four, right after the cutting process. |
 |
This part will hold the panels
to the very left and right of the glareshield. |
 |
And this is how it will look
when the panels are mounted. The unpainted part is of wood and will be
painted the same color (more or less) as the panels. |
 |
A shot from the back. The
cuttings will allow the panels to be backlit. |
